Our Solution
Our Solution is based off of a LifeStraw. A lifestraw is an individual tube that you put in dirty water and when it is sucked up to the mouth it is cleaned through various filters of fiber membranes. We are going to make it better. We are going to make a huge water dispenser. Water dispensers do exist but they have a fiber membrane in side. The insides of ours is going to consist of a mineral filter a fiber membrane filter and a charcoal filter in that order as well. The different filters are in this order because the mineral one gets the the big objects like leaves, rocks and clumps of dirt. The fiber membrane will get the sand dirt and other smaller objects. The final filter the charcoal filter will filter out the bacteria and the microscopic things no one wants in their water. The System will be placed by the center of the village and will be piped to the water source that village uses. This will cost 12,500 dollars because a single house costs 500 dollars and if there is 25 houses in a village times 500 dollars it costs bout 12,500 dollars.
